Delivering sustainable economic growth
Jun 13, 2018 | SI-DRIVE

Social Innovations (SI) arise in specific cultural contexts around the world. Many social innovations are deeply rooted in local settings and embedded in a network of social practices and institutions. This Atlas offers a comprehensive overview of the world of SI, featuring the results of a global mapping project by SI-DRIVE as well as the perspectives of leading experts. It gives insights into various types of SIs in different regions and policy areas, and shows the diversity of approaches by different actors. The results reveal the importance of SI in addressing social, economic, political and environmental challenges of the 21st century.
