Global Humanitarian Assistance Report 2018

Addressing vulnerability and promoting security
Posted Jul 05, 2018 | Development Initiatives

Conflict, violence and persecution have driven the number of people forcibly displaced for the sixth consecutive year, to an estimated 68.5 million. And 2.8 million more people were identified as refugees than in the previous year. Most of those forcibly displaced (62 percent) remained in their own countries. This annual report by DevelopmentInitiatives examines the effectiveness and efficiency of humanitarian financing and related aid flows, and shows where resources are needed, who they come from, where they go and how they get there.
