Diversity, Dialogue and Sharing - Online Resources for a more resourceful World

Sharing core norms and values
Jul 05, 2018 | UNESCO, Francine Saillant

The idea of rapprochement between cultures has been discussed in recent years under the rubrics ‘intercultural’ and ‘interculturalism’, and ‘intercultural dialogue’. In this publication by UNESCO, Francine Saillant discusses the notion of intercultural dialogue through the societies and cultures that implement it through shared resources. Internet-based dissemination is part of contemporary cultures, and an extension thereof. He examines the resources shared by organizations working to develop rapprochement, dialogue and social justice in a context of affirmed pluralism.
