We Need a Flexible World Order

Improving global governance
Nov 03, 2018 | Global Policy Journal, Cyril Prinsloo, Joel Sandhu

The world is facing challenges that increasingly transcend national borders and affect a multitude of countries. Some are likely to spread their costs and benefits across generations. Cyril Prinsloo and Joel Sandhu argue in this article in the Global Policy Journal that the way global public goods are delivered through development and international cooperation, will determine their success or failure. As no single nation can produce and deliver these goods on its own, current institutions must be made more flexible and responsive in dealing with local, regional and global realities.
