Posted Jan 17, 2019 | UN Research Institute for Social Development

Just Transition (JT) - the idea that justice and equity must be made integral to the transition towards a low-carbon world - is coming to counter the idea that environmental protection and the protection of jobs are incompatible. Six country case studies provide insights into how JT is being mobilized to promote transformative change and climate justice.
