Financing the Future of WHO

The Lancet. The world needs an empowered, well financed WHO at the centre of the global health architecture. To achieve this, prominent heads of state should become champions of the WHO, expending political capital to generate global will. Finance ministers must be invited as regular, fully engaged participants in WHO’s programmes and financing.
